About Pin Composer

A small tool for a repetitive part of publishing

Pin Composer exists because turning a blog post into a Pinterest pin took longer than it should — cropping images, writing a caption, picking a board, doing it again for the next post. We built a plugin that does that part for you, inside WordPress, without taking over your workflow.

Pin Composer turning a blog post into a composed Pinterest-ready graphic

Why we built it

A single composed Pinterest pin created with Pin Composer

Most Pinterest traffic tools ask you to leave WordPress, upload images somewhere else, and manage a second content calendar. That’s a lot of overhead for what is, most of the time, a repackaging job: the images and the story already exist in the post you just published.

Pin Composer reads a post you point it to, arranges its images into a pin-shaped graphic, and drafts a title and description. You stay the last step before anything is public — every pin is reviewed and approved by a person before it’s published, whether through Pinterest’s API or exported for Pinterest’s own bulk-upload tool.

We’re not trying to automate your Pinterest presence away from you. We’re trying to remove the fifteen minutes of image editing between “I published a post” and “it’s also a pin.”

What we optimize for

The choices behind Pin Composer, in order of how much they mattered while building it.

Nothing without approval

No pin is ever published automatically. You review the graphic, the copy, and the board before anything goes live.

Your content stays yours

Pin Composer works from posts you own or are authorized to publish from — never a third party’s content.

Official API, not workarounds

Publishing goes through Pinterest’s documented API and OAuth login — no password sharing, no scraping.

Stays out of your way

It’s a plugin on the site you already run — no separate login, dashboard, or subscription to manage.
