Terms & Conditions

Last updated:

Short version: Pin Composer helps you turn your own posts into Pinterest-ready graphics. You’re responsible for the content you feed into it and for having the rights to publish it. We’re responsible for the tool working as described and for not touching your Pinterest account without your say-so.

1. Agreement to these terms

By accessing pincomposer.com or installing the Pin Composer WordPress plugin, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the website or the plugin.

2. What Pin Composer does

Pin Composer is a WordPress plugin that composes Pinterest-ready graphics from posts you point it to, drafts titles and descriptions, and — after your manual review and approval — publishes to a Pinterest account you connect, or exports a CSV for Pinterest’s own bulk-upload tool. Nothing is published automatically without that review step.

3. Use of content, images, and data

Rights and permissions

You are responsible for ensuring you have the appropriate rights and permissions for any content, images, or data you feed into Pin Composer — including your own site’s posts, any scraped or extracted data, and anything published to Pinterest through the tool.

Sourcing content

Pin Composer is built to compose graphics from your own website’s posts. If you point it at a URL, you’re representing that you own that content or are authorized to use it this way. You must comply with the terms of any site whose content you reference.

Copyright

You must respect copyright and intellectual property law for anything you use with Pin Composer, including giving credit where a license requires it. Unauthorized use of copyrighted material is your responsibility, not ours, and may result in your access being revoked.

Your liability

You are solely responsible for the content and images you use and publish through Pin Composer. We are not liable for infringing or illegal use of content by you or anyone using your installation. This is the same principle you’ll find in the terms of comparable Pinterest tools.

Reporting infringement

If you believe content published through Pin Composer infringes your rights, contact us at pincomposer@gmail.com with details and we’ll look into it.

4. Your Pinterest account

Connecting your Pinterest account uses Pinterest’s own OAuth login — we never ask for or see your Pinterest password. You can disconnect at any time from the plugin’s Settings, or by revoking access from Pinterest’s own app permissions page. Pins are published only to boards and at times you specifically select; nothing is generated or published without your review.

5. Credits and plans

Each composed design (a “pin”) consumes one credit, whether it’s later published via the API or exported as CSV. New installations receive a starting allowance of free credits. Additional credits are available through a license key, which may be a one-time top-up, a monthly-refreshing subscription, or an unlimited lifetime plan, as described at the time of purchase. Credits and license keys are tied to the site that redeemed them and are not transferable except at our discretion.

Unless stated otherwise at the time of purchase, payments for credits and license keys are non-refundable once the key has been issued or credits have been applied.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to use Pin Composer to violate Pinterest’s own developer or platform policies, to publish unlawful, infringing, or deceptive content, or to attempt to circumvent the credit system or license key validation. We may suspend or revoke access for accounts found doing so.

7. No warranty

Pin Composer and pincomposer.com are provided “as is.” We don’t guarantee the website or plugin will be uninterrupted or error-free, and we don’t warrant the accuracy of AI-generated titles or descriptions — review them before publishing.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of Pin Composer or this website, including loss of data, Pinterest account actions taken by you, or content you publish. Nothing here limits liability that can’t be excluded under applicable law.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the website or plugin after a change means you accept the updated terms.
